Pearson announced last week that she was splitting with her coach of 14 years Sharon Hannan as she sought new ideas and motivation to lift her back to the top after her silver medal at this year's world titles.

Pearson said she expected to be in “peak condition” for the world indoor championships in Sopot, Poland in March, and for the Australian domestic season leading into next year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
She will be defending the sprint hurdles titles in both Sopot and Glasgow.
