Held in the Scenic Reserve, Geraldine's Brodina comfortably won the 12-hour solo race, completing 25 laps of the challenging 9.7-kilometre circuit.
Brodina started the race very fast, with two sub-25 minute laps that created a wide gap that gradually extended throughout the race.
He managed to avoid any mechanical mishaps and finished clear by two laps from Invercargill's Ian Wright and Matty Graham, of Dunedin.

They competed strongly throughout the day with Cunning Stunts team of Paul Campbell, Jon Crossman, Carl Vaughan, Hayden Vaughan and Mark Johnston.
The lead changed several times but eventually the Young Ones team was able to force an 11-minute gap which continued until the end of the race.
Other Timaru Teams to feature on the podium were the Rusty Demons team who won the veterans class from Crazy, while Timaru's Emma Prestidge won the women's 6-hour solo race, completing 11 laps.
The closest racing was in the Corporate Challenge race with Team South Canterbury Toyota just edging out Konica Minolta to take away the spoils.They removed the majority of the bolts but not the locking Wheel nut, that's why I managed to get so far
Both teams completed 25 laps, but the Toyota team was 9 minutes ahead at the finish.
Event organiser Chris Thomas said the race again drew a high-class field.
"We changed the time this year to start at 9am and finish at 9pm.
